Industrial Power Infrastructure & Electromechanical Contracting
Leona Engineering provides ‘Turnkey (EPC)’ services for the electrification projects of organised industrial zones, factories and power plants. From Medium Voltage (MV) substations to Low Voltage (LV) distribution panels, we build, test and commission your facility's power infrastructure on a ‘Zero Downtime’ principle.

Cable Management Systems & Busbar

Heavy-duty galvanised cable tray and ladder systems are installed with seismic mounting in line with industrial standards. Busbar (E-Line) systems for high current are engineered and installed safely to IP68 protection class. Cables are laid with EMI/EMC shielding in steel conduit and spiral sleeving for physical durability.

MV/LV Cable & Termination Installation

MV and LV XLPE/NYY cables are laid in galleries and tray systems in accordance with the standards. Cable terminations are made with Raychem and 3M kits, including torqueing and labelling. Before energisation, lines are verified and certified with VLF and Megger tests.

Transformer & MV Switchgear Substation

Site installation of dry type (cast resin) and hermetic oil-filled transformers is carried out together with the required oil tests. Busbar integration of RMUs, breakers and disconnectors is completed with mechanical interlocking and gas pressure checks. The system is safely commissioned and energised following protection relay settings and TTR tests.

LV Distribution & MCC Panel Solutions

Form 2b/4b certified main distribution and power factor correction panels are engineered and manufactured in line with IEC 61439. Smart MCC panels with soft starters and VFDs are installed and commissioned for heavy industrial motors. Harmonic filters and reactor systems improve power quality and eliminate the risk of reactive power penalties.

Industrial Automation & Instrumentation

Automatic control of production lines and SCADA integration are provided with Siemens S7 and Schneider PLC infrastructure. Pressure, temperature and flow transmitters are calibrated over the 4–20mA/HART protocol and connected to the DCS. For sensitive data, LIYCY screened cables are used to build EMI/EMC compliant, interference-free signal infrastructure.

T&C (Testing & Commissioning) and Power SCADA

Automatic control of production lines and SCADA integration are provided with Siemens S7 and Schneider PLCs. Pressure, temperature and flow transmitters are calibrated over 4–20mA/HART and connected to the DCS. LIYCY screened cables provide EMI/EMC compliant, interference-free and reliable signal infrastructure.

Transformer Kiosk & Earthing Infrastructure

Kiosk & Concrete Plinth: foundation and plinth construction for monoblock concrete kiosks or sheet-metal substations, matched to the ground survey. Earthing Network: installation of the main earthing network with galvanised strip across the facility, Faraday cage and equipotential busbar mounting. Seismic Support: manufacture of seismically rated steel construction supports for heavy-duty trays and busbar runs.
